Ford Extended Service Plan ESP Premium Care review
Ford Extend Service Plan ESP Premium Care review. The plans are many and aftermarket plans are like walking through a mine field. I feel the Ford ESP is most likely the best one of the bunch when it comes to Extended Service Plans. Not cheap but covers a lot of your vehicles components and if something goes wrong would be well worth the money to have the Ford ESP if you qualify. I am not sponsored by Ford nor have I received any money from any company to make this video. These are only my opinion on the FORD ESP Premium Care program.

Thanks for sharing, on the fence on extending my powertrain warranty for another 48k miles from my 100k mile warranty on my ford transit 250 2017 and I am actually going to go with the full premium warranty as we are on the road working remotely and away from our tools. 👍
I just ordered F450 Limited and will get the 10 yr 175k mile premium and maintenance warranty at that time.
With 19.5" tires without TPMS, I want the dealer to rotate and check and maintain for safety.
I have the Ford Protect plan to cover my engine and driveline on my 2017 F-150 Ecoboost. It started leaking coolant into the combustion chamber in June. I took it to a David McDavid Ford per the Ford Protect Plan. It is now August and I’ve been without my vehicle for two months. Ford Protect and David McDavid Ford still cannot come to an agreement and get my truck repaired. Ford Protect says the dealership needs to send the head out to have it inspected at an engine machine shop and that is on me! It seems that they really do not provide anything but hassles to keep from paying a claim.
with no exceptions. The start of the Ford ESP is the in service date…when the vehicle was BRAND NEW. The mileage is when the vehicle reaches that mileage..not additional mileage. Not additional time. My last truck was 3 years old with 40k on it. I called around and many dealers told me 3 additional years and 60k additional miles. I decided not to buy an esp..luckily. I didn’t realize this till recently looking at esps for my newer truck .
I need help I bought a f150 and it kicks hard when u are in park to reverse they promised me a 90 day warranty through dealership so I take it in and they temporarily fixed so the 90 day warranty is in effect and they pretty much want my 90 days to be up…. I also have the premium extended warranty which you are talking about what do I do???
I had a exp warranty for my 2011 F250 I had 2 major repairs which where about $5000 each on my diesel and it only cost me $100 per repair deductible
It did cost me a little each month but I’ve never had a problem with the Ford warranty. My wife’s car same experience sometimes I wonder if some of these bad raps people speak of is the dealer if you have a good dealer all is good
My service manger told me of some dealers double down they tell you it’s not under warranty and really is so tell charge the warranty you never know about it and they charge you for the repair. Do your homework on the company your dealing with
ESP at COST from dealerships that do not mark these warranties up 2 grand or more are super worth it. some of the Head lights on the platinum F-150s will run you 1000 or more. Sync system can be up there, heck lets say you do need a engine or a tranny or even transfer case for awd. I just did it on my 2019 ford Edge 5 year 60K for $2800, put it on a 0% credit card for 18 months and have piece of mind that i will be covered in case anythign does happen. Great Video
Thank you this video it really helped Thank you it’s October 9, 2022
Thanks for telling us you DON’T have Ford Premium Care.
Great video. Excellent information. Thanks
Great video ❤
Nice presentation
I just purchased the 3 year premium plan for my 2017 edge sel awd 3.5, I had to pay around 160.00 up front and if you choose to make payments they just charge your credit card on file with them, I also have the option to extend it after 3 years, it’s the wife’s car so we can decide at that point on what to do, I hate having other people work on my cars but today’s cars are becoming more expensive and complicated
I bought, what I thought,🦇🦇 was a Ford extended warranty. It kept coming in the mail and had all kind of Ford info. I find later, it is a third party warranty that I would have never bought. I have been waiting on paperwork for 90 days. Trying now to cancel it and hope to buy a real Ford warranty.🦇
I just bought a 7 year 100k mile with the $100 deductible & lighting coverage for my 2021 Bronco Sport for only $1600ish dollars. That was way cheaper than what the dealer wanted.
Is it a waiting period after purchase
I have a 2017 Ford Fusion. I’m hearing problems with the 2.0 ecoboost motors and I am looking for an extended warranty in case this happens. I bought it used and the warranty was up February 2022. Can I get the ESP for a vehicle that out if original warranty for almost 6 months?
I got my Connect fixt 3 times i email with ford back an forward unless 20 emails and they left me hanging they want me to go 4th time on service . i lost 2 months and i was fired from work (cant work with no van) cannot sue them no money for that but i want Everybody to know Ford looks like made in China when you need them or there warranty they do not honor warranty who you pay for! that was me …..maybe you are lucky.
Ford ESP is a joke. Bought an 8yr one for my F250 diesel. At only 40k miles the DPF system failed at a cost of $7k, NOT COVERED. Power steering gear box bad at a cost of $1800, NOT COVERED. Try calling them and you get to speak to India who can give zero shits! Worst investment I’ve ever made.
I bought a premium care extended warranty through Lincoln when the PTU cracked at 29500 miles I took it in for a year oil change that first one cost me NOTHING except for the added rear gear oil change and of course oil change. I have expensive LED adaptive headlights and I can’t find a replacement bulb for my 2016 that tells me you mu st buy the entire headlight unit. I also had an idler pulley go out that part alone was 350 not including labor I paid 100 bucks
I bought a zurich extended warranty with my used forward escape The warranty is been beautiful hundred dollar copay takes care of just about everything Thank god I got this extended The warranty hope I can
Thank you I appreciate this video
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!! DEALER TRIED TO SELL ME A PARTNERS WARRANTY 6 year/125,000 mile FOR $3200 doesn’t even have ALL THIS COVERAGE for only $2600 for me! 8 years/150,000 Miles ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once my car oil life hits 50% remaining I change the oil reason being is my water pump in inside ran off the timing chain and if that water pump leaks goodbye engine the 2400 dollar extended Premium Care Warranty good for me until 2027 or 100,000 miles I could have opted for 150k but I don’t drive much
After 10 days they extends the rental agreement, I have a 2015 F250 Lariat, some gear compression booster needed to be replaced to allow the truck to downshift whenever I’m hauling a trailer and I got a F-150 rental and I had it for about 3 weeks no problem didn’t have to come all the pocket at all.
I’m about to buy a 2018 Chevy traverse from a ford dealership with 45k miles on in. They offered me ford premium care for the vehicle for 4 years that means I can take the car to Chevrolet and the car will be able to get fixed? I’m just confused how it works on vehicles that aren’t ford or Lincoln
If you buy an 8 year plan that is bumper to bumper, wouldn’t that be better than the original 3/36? The original warranty isn’t bumper to bumper since it won’t pay for struts and other items.
Can I used this warranty right away
So if I just bought a 2021 Ford Explorer and it comes with 3yr/36k bumper to bumper and 5yr/60k powertrain warranty. If I buy a extended warranty let’s say 8 years 150k from floodford I’m actually only getting 3 more years and 90k more miles added to my already factory warranty? So should I wait till my factory warranty is about to expire to purchase the Esp?
My understanding is the better warranty plans list what they don’t cover…everything not listed would be covered.
Just bought a 2019 Raptor… considering ESP. Thanks for the video.
It’s usually finance with zero APR. I ordered mine online from lambarde ford in connecticut. Paid for it on my credit card and it was like $700 in 2012 for the 72mo 6yr premium. Had a new harley davidson pick up that I actually bought in Alabama. Problem with this generation F15O is the moon roof. It’s like a $2500 job. The ESP paid out although it wasn’t actually written in the list. It seems like it was glossed over. The dealer didn’t want to commit totally at first but the Esp hotline was reluctant to even give me an indication if moon roof was covered. Nonetheless, it was fixed along with the rear camera that zaps out and the power steering pump which had a small leak. I was about at 52k miles and 5yr mark. I had a $200 deductible with my plan.
